How PestRated Badges Work

Every company we publish carries the Verified Pest Pro seal. It means we checked the company against other places it shows up online before it went on the list. Awards on top of the seal come only from facts we hold for that company. Nobody can buy one.

The Awards

  • Top Rated. 4.7 stars or higher on 25 or more public reviews. 7,748 companies hold it.
  • Highly Rated. 4.5 stars or higher on 10 or more public reviews. 3,203 companies hold it.
  • Best in a city. The highest review weighted rating in a city list of 8 or more rated companies with 10 or more reviews each. 585 companies hold one.
  • Most Reviewed. The most public reviews in a city list of 5 or more, with 25 or more reviews and no tie. 894 companies hold it.
  • State Licensed. Only when we matched the company to an official state license list. 2,105 companies hold it.
  • Named programs. GreenPro, EcoWise or Green Shield, only when the company names it on its own website. 123 companies hold one.

Checking a Badge

Every badge links to its company page, and every company has a check page at /verify/ that lists each badge it holds and why. If a company leaves the list, its badges stop showing everywhere they are posted.
